Madness in Jamaica: Gas Station Drama as Pump Attendant Sets Woman Ablaze!

About This Video

A 30-year-old pump attendant has been formally charged in connection with last week's shocking gas station attack in Westmoreland, which left a woman in the hospital with serious burn injuries.

Collate Swaby, of Old Road in Whithorn, was charged with assault resulting in bodily harm and aggravated assault on Monday, February 23.

The charge stems from a disturbing incident caught on video and widely shared on social media. The video showed a heated argument at a service station in the Whithorn area before a woman was doused with flammable liquid and set on fire.

According to Whithorn Police reports, around midday on Thursday, February 19, the injured woman went to the service station where Swaby works. An argument reportedly erupted between the two, escalating into violence.

Swaby allegedly threw a flammable substance at the woman and set her on fire during the argument.

Bystanders rushed to help, extinguishing the flames before transporting the injured woman to the hospital, where she is still being treated.
